# 6.9 Exporting and Tagging Data

Ushahidi's platform allows you to export your data as a CSV file or assign tags and attributes to your data and upload directly to a Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX) account or export as a tagged CSV file.

In this section, you will learn how to: 

1.  Export all of your data from Ushahidi as a CSV, choose specific survey fields you want to export as a CSV 
2. Assign [ HXL tags ](https://hxlstandard.org/standard/1-1final/tagging/), [ **HXL attributes** ](https://hxlstandard.org/standard/1-1final/dictionary/)and choose to upload to an [ **Humanitarian Data Exchange** ](https://data.humdata.org/)account or download as a HXL 'tagged' CSV file.
